   I continue to follow several lines of closely related and intermingled thought in the production of work from my gas kiln.  The Ikebana vessels and some of the Tea ware are closely related in form or glaze and especially in feeling.  The Tea ware and table ware share common roots.  While the gas kiln allows me some level of control not available in the wood fueled kiln, my goal is to make the work feel spontaneous and natural.
